About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will join an Integrated Product Team (IPT) at Pratt & Whitney. This full-time, paid position takes place during the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in East Hartford, Connecticut. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
What you'll do#
- Contribute as an active member of an Integrated Product Team.
- Identify project issues, propose solutions, and track progress toward resolution.
- Coordinate tasks across different functional organizations to keep projects on schedule.
- Prepare and present technical status updates to IPT and CIPT leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, continuing through the internship period.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize engineering tasks.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Fusion 360 is preferred.
- Experience using MS PowerPoint to create and deliver professional presentations.
- Previous internship or work experience with RTX is a plus.
