About the role#
This is a full-time Mechanical Engineer Intern position focused on test equipment. You will work on-site in Tucson, Arizona, during the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Design structures, assemblies, and mechanisms.
- Perform detailed design and drafting work following ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Support the procurement and testing of development hardware.
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate across functions to mature designs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or higher degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- You must be entering your sophomore year by Summer 2027.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 is preferred.
- Experience with Creo modeling and drafting is preferred.
- Experience with Windchill and configuration management is preferred.
