About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as part of the systems engineering team. This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Person.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware engineers to create safe, reliable avionics display solutions.
- Develop and execute system-level operational tests for Avionics Display Systems.
- Write software tools to support the integration, verification, and validation of display systems.
- Gain experience with the system development lifecycle, including requirements capture, system modeling, and design.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Aerospace Engineering, with active status through the internship session.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ARINC 661, ARINC 664, and ARP-4754.
