About the role#
As a COOP supervisor, you will support day-to-day operations within a unionized manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the team to ensure tasks are assigned and collective agreement rules are followed. This role requires on-site presence in Longueuil, Quebec, from Monday to Friday, 6:30 to 15:00.
What you'll do#
- Manage employees and act as a resource person for the department.
- Ensure smooth daily operations and assign tasks.
- Apply collective agreement rules and maintain compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Deploy strategies to reduce non-quality.
- Lead projects focused on continuous improvement, including layout, productivity, and environmental initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Current studies in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Human Resources, or Operations Management.
- Ability to work on-site in Longueuil, Quebec.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and One Note.
- Working knowledge of English to handle technical documentation and international communication.
- Assets include experience in manufacturing, lean manufacturing, SAP software, change management, and strong communication skills.

- Location: 1000 Blvd Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, QC, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Note: The successful candidate must pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
