About the role#
This summer student position is based in the Special Process Engineering department. You will gain experience through on the job training while working closely with the Process Engineering Team. This is an 8 month term.
What you'll do#
- Perform process control coupon testing for composite, heat treating, and metal bonding processes.
- Conduct material on receipt testing for various processes.
- Review customer process specifications to maintain approvals.
- Revise internal process procedures.
- Write and revise part specific process working instructions.
- Perform metallurgical, mechanical, or destruct testing required for process qualification, re-qualification, and development.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a second or third year Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering student.
- Academic standing is considered.
- Experience or participation in engineering related activities is considered.

- This role is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
- The position is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
