About the role#
As an industrial engineering intern, you will take on the responsibilities of a project manager. You will work on tasks such as introducing new equipment, continuous improvement, modifying existing machinery, and integrating new tools. You will collaborate with various technical groups and external suppliers to meet project objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work in an environment that spans the factory floor and the office.
What you'll do#
- Analyse problems and develop solutions.
- Coordinate project teams to execute work on production lines.
- Prepare and present business cases.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Current studies in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to work on-site in the province of hire.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Working knowledge of English to read technical instructions, plans, drawings, and specialized terminology.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site, Monday to Friday.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
