About the role#
Héroux-Devtek is looking for a Methods Intern to join our operations team in Longueuil. This is a full-time, hybrid position focused on supporting our Methods Department through technical design and documentation. You will work closely with technicians, specialists, and production staff to maintain and improve our manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Design retaining fixtures and various tooling using CATIA software.
- Update tooling drawings and operational sketches.
- Refine 3D assembly techniques to improve production workflows.
- Collaborate with Methods Technicians, Technical Specialists, and production floor workers.
- Assist the Methods Department with additional tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a diploma as an Aircraft Maintenance or Manufacturing Technician.
- Proficiency in CATIA software and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with autonomy.
- A collaborative mindset and strong teamwork skills.
- English language proficiency for communication with international suppliers, clients, and subsidiaries.
- Experience with 3Dvia Composer software is considered an asset.
