About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join our Internal Audit and Corporate Governance team. You will work from our head office in Longueuil, supporting strategic operations within the aerospace industry. This is a full-time, paid internship with a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and supervise the 52-109 compliance mandate, which is managed by an external firm.
- Plan, execute, and document operational internal audit tasks.
- Propose and implement recommendations to improve internal controls and processes, while tracking their progress.
- Participate in the ongoing development of our internal audit function.
- Assist with risk management mandates.
- Contribute to special corporate projects, including process redesigns and acquisitions.
- Help manage the company's commercial insurance portfolio.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or taxation, ideally with 1 to 2 years of experience in internal audit. Current students in these fields are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical, communication, and listening skills.
- A rigorous approach to work combined with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate with international stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel.
