About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Longueuil, Quebec. You will work in a hybrid capacity supporting our landing gear development and production programs. This role involves maintaining quality standards, managing documentation, and contributing to process improvements within our engineering and production teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the product quality focal point for large-scale landing gear programs.
- Update quality plans and implement team training.
- Define and implement a tool to manage customer requirements.
- Prepare documentation for Test Readiness Reviews and manage non-conformities for deliveries.
- Ensure operations meet AS9100 and customer requirements.
- Manage the internal audit schedule and conduct floor audits to review compliance with instructions.
- Migrate corrective actions to new tools and maintain a KPI dashboard.
- Identify ways to improve processes and reduce manual tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a combination of relevant experience and a college diploma in these fields.
- Bilingualism in English and French, both written and spoken, for communication with international suppliers and clients.
- Proficiency in CATIA and other relevant software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with autonomy and take initiative.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset.
