About the role#
As a Supply Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the aerospace industry by supporting our purchasing team. You will work on daily procurement tasks and contribute to a specific improvement project throughout your term. You will receive training on our internal tools and the industrial context of landing gear manufacturing, including factory visits.
What you'll do#
- Maintain ERP configuration data, including lead times, prices, and minimum order quantities.
- Modify contractual Purchase Order elements and confirm them with suppliers.
- Learn and apply processes for PO placement, management, and escalation.
- Participate in operational and departmental improvement meetings.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers under the guidance of your supervisor.
- Create decision-making tools and implement new procedures to improve department efficiency.
- Contribute to the plant improvement committee on purchasing-related projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Business Administration, Management, or Purchasing Management.
- Proficiency in English is required for communication with international suppliers and subsidiaries.
- Ability to work autonomously and learn new systems quickly.
- Proactive approach to tasks and team involvement.
- Strong communication skills.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
