About the role#
As a Procurement Intern, you will provide active support to the purchasing team within a specialized aeronautical manufacturing environment. This role offers a practical opportunity to learn the various facets of the purchasing profession, including supply chain management, ERP operations, and supplier coordination. You will work under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager, who will provide comprehensive training on both the tools used and the specific industrial context of landing gear systems.
What you'll do#
- Maintain data parameters in the ERP system, such as minimum order quantities, lead times, and pricing.
- Modify elements related to contractual purchase orders and manage necessary communications with suppliers.
- Participate in the placement, management, and tracking of purchase orders.
- Support buyers with various administrative and operational tasks.
- Attend team meetings, including operational and continuous improvement sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business Administration or a related field.
- Ability to learn quickly and work with ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to understand operational needs.
- Interest in clerical and administrative tasks.
- Rigor, organizational skills, and autonomy.
- Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset, as the role requires communication with international suppliers, clients, and auditors.
