About the role#
This internship focuses on the coordination of collaborative research projects and the improvement of technology management processes at Pratt & Whitney Canada. You will join the team to help streamline operations and enhance the tools used to manage research funding and project collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the coordination of collaborative research projects.
- Improve existing technology management processes.
- Update process documentation and provide training to team members.
- Refine tracking processes and tools to help maximize financial leverage on research projects.
- Update the collaboration portal on the company intranet.
- Streamline the process for handling research collaboration requests.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university for the full duration of the internship.
- Current studies in Business Administration, Law, Management, Communications, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency with the Office 365 suite, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a bilingual environment.
- Working knowledge of English to read technical instructions, plans, and drawings, and to communicate with international colleagues and suppliers.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to complete a criminal background check.
- Ability to obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday.
