About the role#
StandardAero is seeking a Supply Chain Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time position is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. You will work directly with the Manager of the Supply Chain Business Unit to gain hands-on experience in inventory planning, procurement, warehousing, and shipping.
What you'll do#
- Document the various functions within the supply chain.
- Analyze transaction processing and data entry requirements.
- Compare process differences across different business units.
- Develop and recommend short-term and long-term process improvements.
- Utilize process mapping and project management skills.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a 2nd to 4th year student in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management.
- At least 1 year of experience in an inventory or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MS Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Access.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma, and process mapping.
- Knowledge of inventory control systems, purchasing, and production management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, crouch, crawl, or climb for extended periods.
