About the role#
This co-op position offers students the chance to work with the Supply Chain Management team on projects that support on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and supplier performance. You will contribute to the supply chain process while gaining experience in the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Work with cross-functional teams to support new and existing product lines.
- Manage material and communication flow using an ERP/MRP system and other information tools.
- Perform reporting, analysis, and forecasting using various data sources.
- Assist with streamlining existing processes and support assigned projects.
- Contribute to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete all required training and follow company safety protocols and EHS policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Completion of sophomore year criteria.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Effective written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week during the academic year and 35 to 40 hours during the summer.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings and required medical exams.
- Preferred involvement in a professional supply chain organization such as ISM or PMAC.
