About the role#
As an IT Analyst Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working alongside our teams in the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing industry. You will learn from experts while contributing to projects that support our business operations. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions.
- Build reports and dashboards using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Partner with senior analysts to identify and recommend process improvements.
- Document current processes and suggest optimizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Create documentation to capture business needs.
- Support solution testing and validation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain project documentation, including timelines, plans, and status reports.
- Perform data cleanup and maintenance to ensure integrity and consistency.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer specific business questions or identify emerging trends.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- Completed coursework in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Statistics, Database Management, or Information Systems.
- Introductory knowledge of data tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Domo through class projects or coursework.
- Familiarity with quantitative methods, data interpretation, or statistical analysis.
- Experience with critical thinking and problem-solving, specifically in deriving insights from data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills developed through reports or presentations.
- Ability to work effectively in team settings.
- A strong motivation to grow professionally and a willingness to seek feedback.
