About the role#
This co-op position joins the Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) team in Colorado Springs. You will support the daily tasks of the team while gaining experience across the engineering development lifecycle for the ACES ejection seat program. This is a full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Support the daily tasks of the SEIT team.
- Help evaluate customer needs to define system performance requirements.
- Document system architecture and validate that requirements are met.
- Learn test engineering methodologies, including planning and preparation.
- Perform data analysis and verification documentation.
- Assist test engineers with test execution depending on program schedules and your proficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- High computer and technology proficiency.
- Comfort with ambiguity and good project discipline.
- A coachable and adaptable mindset.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
