About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Manufacturing Equipment Engineering Intern to join our Global Operations team in Richardson, Texas. This internship provides hands-on experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers to maintain and improve our production equipment.
What you'll do#
- Lead an improvement project focused on equipment performance, maintenance methods, yield, or cost reduction.
- Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of equipment or process issues on the factory floor.
- Support senior engineers with equipment sustaining tasks.
- Participate in process and equipment qualification to prepare for production.
- Review and analyze data from product qualifications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Electrical, Mechanical, or Multidisciplinary Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Familiarity with mechanical or electrical systems.
- A self-starting attitude and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to perform hands-on engineering work in a factory setting.
- Ability to work independently while keeping the team informed.
- Knowledge of chemistry, physics, semiconductor processing, and statistical process control is helpful.

- This position is based on-site in Richardson, Texas.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
