About the role#
Qorvo is looking for an Analog Design Engineering Intern to join our team in San Jose. You will work within our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, or Connectivity and Sensors business groups. This role provides hands-on experience with design schematics, simulations, and lab testing in a team-based environment.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design of functional blocks such as LNA, switch, DSA, SOI analog blocks, and RF Modules.
- Produce designs that meet challenging specifications, often requiring trade studies to determine the best path forward.
- Adapt designs to meet specific customer requirements for ruggedness, ESD, and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to generate design schematics and run simulations.
- Use lab equipment including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to verify simulated data against real lab results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MS or PhD program for Electrical Engineering.
- Completed coursework in analog/RF circuit design, specifically covering LDO, bandgap circuits, differential amplifiers, and operational amplifiers.
- Completed analog layout coursework with a focus on common centroid and interdigitated layout techniques.
- Practical experience with Cadence Virtuoso, PVS, and Assembler/Explorer software.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.

- This position is based on-site in San Jose, California.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
