About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Design Engineering Intern to join our team in Apopka, Florida. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date. You will work on-site to assist with technical projects related to semiconductor design and testing.
What you'll do#
- Use AI tools to automate measurement analysis.
- Perform BAW thermal simulation using ANSYS.
- Define test plans for BAW resonator ruggedness.
- Collaborate with test engineers to conduct resonator-level power limit tests.
- Analyze data across various resonators and filter technologies.
- Propose ruggedness limit conditions for filter designs.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Coursework or experience in analog and RF circuit design.
- Familiarity with RF measurement equipment such as network and spectrum analyzers is preferred.
- Exposure to software tools like ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, or Dynamic Link is preferred.
- Prior experience with ANSYS is preferred.
