About the role#
Qorvo is looking for a Process Engineering Intern to join the Global Operations team in Richardson, Texas. You will work on projects within our package assembly facility, gaining hands-on experience in a clean room environment. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Lead one or more projects focused on component or die assembly.
- Perform process troubleshooting and optimize manufacturing recipes.
- Collect data using various metrology tools.
- Analyze data using software like JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
- Design and execute fab engineering trials.
- Support 5S continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CAD tools, 3D printing, and SolidWorks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Semiconductor coursework or experience with package assembly is preferred.
