About the role#
As a Process Engineering Intern, you will join the Customer Support Business Group to support process development, product development, and research and development. You will work on engineering projects for both 2300 and Legacy etch tools. Your work helps the team optimize yield and contribute to process demonstrations.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers with wafer fabrication equipment tests, equipment setup, and experiment preparation.
- Operate processing equipment using defined recipes to collect results.
- Capture measurements using tools like thin film, CD, and XSEM metrology.
- Perform chemistry properties analysis.
- Process test runs and prepare charts, records, and schematics to present to engineering teams.
- Provide technical assistance and help troubleshoot lab tools and experiment setups.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment.
- Comfort wearing personal protective safety equipment, including a cleanroom suit or smock.
- Foundational reading, writing, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work a shift schedule.
