About the role#
We are looking for an Equipment Coordinator Student to join our team at the North American Headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term, spanning 8 months. You will work on-site to assist with technology and equipment management across our districts.
What you'll do#
- Act as the main contact for equipment requests, transfers, and activations.
- Track requests and validate project numbers and district codes.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders and asset records.
- Coordinate technology transfers within the financial system.
- Monitor warehouse shipments and provide status updates.
- Close out equipment orders and manage stock shortage communications.
- Recommend equipment alternatives to meet operational needs.
- Create reports for asset tracking, compliance, and decision-making.
- Assist with asset audits and identify process improvements.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and provide customer service to internal clients.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP platforms like JD Edwards/E1.
- Knowledge of inventory controls, asset tracking, and record management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working across departments.
- Experience with negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
