About the role#
PCL Construction is hiring an Integrated Construction Technology Student for the Montreal district. This full-time position runs during the Winter 2027 term for a duration of 4 or 8 months. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience on real projects while receiving mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Develop plans for construction schedules and site layout documents, including site safety, access, trailers, temporary electricity, hoist access, crane swing, and demolition.
- Build familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) software such as Revit, Navisworks, Enscape, Fuzor, and Lumion.
- Work with scheduling and 4D scheduling programs like P6 and Synchro.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program for architectural technology or a related field.
- A strong desire to work in a construction environment.
- Good working knowledge of Revit.
- Proficiency in computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and drafting.
- Prior field construction experience is an asset.
