About the role#
Haselden Construction offers a full-time, hands-on internship for students interested in the construction industry. You will join an active project team and work alongside project engineers, managers, and superintendents. This program focuses on learning by doing through meaningful project responsibilities. You will spend time in both office and field environments to understand how work is planned, coordinated, and installed.
What you'll do#
- Support document control, RFIs, and submittals.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project partners.
- Assist with project meetings, documentation, and follow-up tasks.
- Support quality control inspections and safety activities.
- Help with scheduling, manpower tracking, and other project controls.
- Review project drawings and specifications.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow them through to completion.
- Complete a final presentation for project leaders and executives detailing your contributions and lessons learned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related degree program.
- A genuine interest in a career within the construction industry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to ask questions.
- Accountability and the ability to follow through on commitments.
- Comfort working in both office and active construction environments.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- A team-first attitude.
- Previous construction, field, or leadership experience is a plus.

- Compensation: This is a paid position.
