About the role#
We are looking for a Human Resources Student to join our North American Headquarters district. You will support the Heavy Industrial Sector HRPD team for a 4-8 month term starting in January 2027. This role reports directly to the HRPD Manager.
What you'll do#
- Assist with talent acquisition, career management, and employee engagement programs.
- Help the team prepare for daily events and handle follow-up tasks like scheduling meetings and maintaining action lists.
- Manage career-related inquiries via email.
- Prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation.
- Take on additional HR and project management tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree or diploma with a major in Human Resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and grammatical skills.
- You are proactive, resourceful, and able to maintain confidentiality while managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

- This is an on-site position based in Edmonton, Alberta.
- The term is for Winter 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
