About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Tampa, Florida, supporting our project teams with daily operations, documentation, and field coordination.
What you'll do#
- Support Field Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents with daily project tasks.
- Conduct safety and quality audits to ensure site standards.
- Read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Manage administrative tasks including logging submittals, processing RFIs, and preparing meeting minutes or reports.
- Assist with project layout and surveying activities.
- Maintain field drawings, equipment, and project records.
- Coordinate material deliveries and communicate with subcontractors and vendors.
- Help with estimating and soliciting pricing from suppliers.
- Attend project meetings and handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- A genuine interest in building a career within the construction industry.
- Availability to work full time from May to August.
- Willingness to temporarily relocate to project sites as needed.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Driver License.
- Ability to pass a substance test as a condition of employment.
