About the role#
PCL Construction is hiring an Engineering/Technical Student for our Regina district. This is a paid, full-time position focused on gaining hands-on experience within our Canadian Buildings sector. We offer terms of 4, 8, 12, or 16 months starting in January 2026.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate drawings and manage work scope for specific trades and sub-trades.
- Review trade quotes by verifying material quantities, hours, and rates.
- Participate in project meetings and monitor workforce productivity.
- Conduct deficiency walks and maintain deficiency logs.
- Update field drawings and produce as-built drawings.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and verify site conditions.
- Set up and maintain project records.
- Update schedules and create manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software.
- Create and maintain graphical schedules using AutoCAD.
- Issue warranties and manage progress photos.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary institution with plans to return or graduate after this work term.
- A desire to work in a construction environment.
- Proficiency with computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and drafting programs.
- Prior field construction experience is an asset.
