About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is hiring multiple interns for the IS Infrastructure & Operations team. These full-time, paid positions are based in Calgary and Sherwood Park. You will join a team that manages company infrastructure, provides technical support, and implements new technology. These roles run from May 2027 through December 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support infrastructure modernization through cloud migrations, data protection, and virtualization.
- Assist with AI development, automation of routine tasks, and knowledge management.
- Provide infrastructure support and troubleshooting using various tools.
- Assist with end-user support, device deployment, and application installation.
- Perform system maintenance including patching, backups, and account management.
- Provide Tier 1 and hardware support.
- Support cybersecurity checks.
- Support field communications including networking, OT systems, technical documentation, and equipment installation.
- Maintain safety standards and follow company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in a related discipline.
- Interest in AI development, infrastructure, cloud technologies, data protection, virtualization, networks, electronics, telecommunications, OT, or OT cyber security.
- Previous experience in IT, OT, telecommunications, electronics, or oil and gas is an asset.
- Experience with network drawings, Excel, structured cabling, network documentation, or ServiceNow is an asset.
- Willingness to work in both office and field environments.
- A valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's Licence is an asset.
- You must be returning to school following the end of the work term.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the term.
- Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
