General Labour Summer Student

About the role#

Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking two General Labour Summer Students to join the Gas Services Business Unit within the Operations Division. These roles provide hands-on field and administrative support across multiple operating sites, including Musreau, Kakwa, and Patterson Creek. Students will report to the Day Foreman of Maintenance and Operations.

What you'll do#

• Perform general site support, including painting safety gates, handrails, and cement barricades.
• Execute general housekeeping, site clean-up, and vegetation management around pipeline risers.
• Clean storage facilities, wash trucks, and coordinate vehicle servicing.
• Support day-to-day operational activities by working with site teams, using basic tools and equipment, and utilizing Microsoft Office.
• Assist with basic administrative and office tasks.
• Uphold the company safety culture by following all Life Saving Rules and prioritizing the safety of yourself and others.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary or trades program with a commitment to return to school following the work term.
• Prior experience in general labour, maintenance, or industrial environments.
• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driver’s abstract.
• Ability to commit to the full duration of the summer term and the required work schedule.
• Ability to pass pre-employment requirements, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check.

Location & details#

• Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta.
• Term: Summer 2026 (May 4 to August 28).
• Schedule: Full-time, 4 x 10 shift (Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Residency Requirement: Must live within 100 km of Grande Prairie, AB.
