About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is hiring two General Labour Summer Students for the Gas Services Business Unit in Grande Prairie, Alberta. You will report to the Maintenance and Operations Day Foremen. This role provides hands-on field and administrative support across multiple operating sites, including Musreau, Kakwa, and Patterson Creek. You will travel between these locations as part of your daily responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Perform general site maintenance, such as painting safety gates, handrails, and cement barricades.
- Manage vegetation and brush around pipeline risers.
- Handle general housekeeping, site clean-up, and cleaning of storage facilities.
- Wash trucks and coordinate vehicle servicing.
- Support day-to-day operations by working with site teams and using basic tools, equipment, and Microsoft Office.
- Assist with basic administrative and office tasks.
- Follow Pembina’s Life Saving Rules and support the Zero by Choice safety culture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary or trades program with an intent to return to school after the work term.
- Prior experience in general labour, maintenance, or industrial environments.
- A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driver’s abstract.
- Ability to commit to the full work term from May 4 to August 28, 2026.
- Ability to work a 4 x 10 schedule, Monday to Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Residence within 100 km of Grande Prairie, Alberta.
