About the role#
This internship is part of our Prelaunch program, a three-month development journey designed to build a foundation for a career in civil engineering. You will work alongside experienced consultants, project managers, and subject matter experts on meaningful projects. This is a full-time, paid position that focuses on technical skill development and the consultant mindset.
What you'll do#
- Design engineering solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress.
- Participate in project and client meetings.
- Refine technical designs and documentation.
- Analyze reports and specifications.
- Explore project and client management practices.
- Use digital tools and innovation to drive sustainable outcomes.

What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in the field through internships, volunteering, or organization memberships.
- Creative thinking skills and a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and colleagues.
- A resilient, solution-oriented mindset focused on continuous growth.
- The ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to teamwork.
- Authorization to work in the US, as we do not provide sponsorship for this role.
Location & details#
- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: This is a hybrid role. You must be able to commute to the office for a minimum of three days per week.
