About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Environmental Engineering internship for Summer 2027. You will join our team in Austin, Texas, working alongside experienced consultants and mentors. This three-month program is designed to help you build technical skills and gain a practical understanding of the consulting industry.
What you'll do#
- Design engineering solutions for various projects.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress.
- Attend project and client meetings.
- Refine technical designs and project documentation.
- Analyze reports and specifications.
- Explore core aspects of project and client management.
- Use digital tools to drive sustainable outcomes.

What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in the field through internships, volunteering, or organization memberships.
- A methodical, pragmatic approach to problem solving and creative thinking.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A resilient, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to teamwork.

Location & details#
- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. This role requires a minimum of three days per week in the office to support face-to-face collaboration.
- Compensation: $18 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and education.
- Benefits: Eligible interns may participate in the 401(k) retirement savings plan.
