About the role#
This internship is part of our three-month Prelaunch program. You will work alongside consultants, project managers, and subject matter experts to gain foundational experience in civil and environmental engineering. This is a paid, full-time summer 2027 opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Design engineering solutions and refine technical documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress.
- Analyze project reports and specifications.
- Participate in client and project meetings.
- Explore project management workflows.
- Use digital tools to drive sustainable outcomes.
- Connect with peers through our Early Career Professionals Network.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in the industry through internships, volunteering, or memberships.
- A methodical and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A resilient, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Location & details#
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
- Sponsorship: We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
- Compensation: $18 to $35 per hour, based on factors such as education and experience.
