About the role#
This internship is a three-month development program designed to provide foundational experience in structural engineering. You will work alongside project managers, subject matter experts, and mentors to contribute to real projects. The role focuses on building technical skills while developing a consulting mindset.
What you'll do#
- Design engineering solutions and refine technical documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress.
- Analyze reports and project specifications.
- Join project and client meetings to observe management processes.
- Use digital tools to support innovation and sustainable project outcomes.

What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in the field through internships, volunteering, or organization memberships.
- A methodical, pragmatic, and creative approach to problem solving.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A resilient, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to teamwork.
Location & details#
- Location: The Woodlands, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a requirement of at least three days per week in the office.
- Employment: Full-time, paid position.
