About the role#
This summer internship provides administrative, coordination, and project support to the project team. It is an opportunity to gain practical experience in commercial construction management. You will work under the direction of the project team to assist with daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Collect, review, process, and distribute submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
- Prepare and distribute project documentation, meeting minutes, correspondence, and communications.
- Assist with bid package coordination, quote coverage, project billings, and draws.
- Maintain accurate project files and logs, including permits, change orders, and closeout documentation.
- Support Project Managers with schedule updates, cost tracking, and day-to-day activities.
- Participate in site walks, safety inspections, quality observations, and project team meetings.
- Coordinate with trade partners, design partners, and internal team members.
- Travel to project jobsites and regional offices as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong written communication, organization, proofreading, and follow-through skills.
- A valid driver license and the ability to travel to assigned jobsites.
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software, or construction management systems is helpful but not required.
