About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship within the Transportation department. You will work on-site in Katy, Texas, during the Summer 2027 term. The program runs from mid-May through the first week of August, requiring 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering assignments under the direction of experienced engineers.
- Shadow actual operations to learn about project phases and the day-to-day work of the industry.
- Complete specific assignments that support larger projects.
- Learn about various sectors and services offered by the company.
- Participate in company social engagement activities and events.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year of college.
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong academic performance and a high level of motivation.
- A sincere desire to learn about the company and the engineering industry.
- Good organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on MS Excel.
- The ability to work well within a team environment.
