About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern in Land Development, you will join our team for a summer program to gain hands-on experience. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects, contributing to assignments while developing your technical and professional skills. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Shadow daily operations to learn about various project phases.
- Complete unique assignments that support larger projects.
- Gain insight into the day-to-day workings of the engineering field.
- Participate in social engagement activities and learn about our sectors and services.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least one year of college.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong academic performance and a high level of motivation.
- A sincere desire to learn about our company and the industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Good organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- The ability to collaborate well within a team environment.
