About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern in our Transportation group, you will gain hands-on experience by working alongside experienced professionals. You will be integrated into a team to contribute to real-world projects and develop technical skills. This is a full-time, paid internship that runs during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering assignments under the direction of experienced engineers.
- Shadow actual operations to learn about various project phases.
- Complete unique assignments that support larger projects.
- Experience the day-to-day workings of engineering.
- Learn about company sectors and services.
- Participate in social engagement activities and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least one year of college.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong academic performance and a high level of motivation.
- A sincere desire to gain experience and knowledge in the industry.
- Good organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- A great work ethic.

- This role is based on-site in Dallas, Fort Worth, or Mc Kinney, Texas.
- This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
