About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship within the Land Development department for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Houston or Katy, Texas, for 40 hours per week. This program offers hands-on experience by integrating you into a team where you will contribute to real-world projects and develop professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering assignments under the direction of experienced engineers.
- Shadow daily operations to learn about different project phases.
- Complete unique tasks that support larger projects.
- Participate in the day-to-day workings of the engineering team.
- Engage in social activities and learn about company sectors and services.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least one year of college.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong academic performance and a sincere desire to learn about the industry.
- A strong work ethic and high motivation.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on MS Excel.
