About the role#
The Diwan Lab internship provides undergraduate students with field experience. You will work with mentors who provide instruction, guidance, and performance assessments. This role is designed to reinforce your academic learning through practical application within the work unit.
What you'll do#
- Observe the daily functions and processes of the assigned work unit.
- Complete internship-related assignments and reports for both Mayo Clinic and your educational institution.
- Perform specific work assignments to build your skills and contribute to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Active registration for coursework during the current or upcoming academic term.
- Proof of enrollment in classes.
- Completion of most required degree coursework prior to the internship.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a criminal background check.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
