About the role#
This internship provides field experience within the facilities department. You will work under the guidance of assigned mentors who provide instruction and assess your performance. The duration and timing of the program are arranged between you and your educational institution.
What you'll do#
- Observe the functions and processes of the assigned work unit.
- Complete selected work assignments to reinforce your learning experience.
- Participate in instruction and guidance provided by your mentors.
- Finish all internship-related assignments and reports for both Mayo Clinic and your school.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Active registration for coursework in the current academic term.
- Completion of most courses required by your degree program.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a criminal background check.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for company sponsorship.
