About the role#
The Graduate Degree Intern in the Mutter Lab gains relevant field experience through a structured internship program. You will work under the guidance of assigned mentors who provide instruction and assess your performance. This position is a paid, full-time opportunity located on-site in Rochester, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Observe the daily functions and processes of the assigned work unit.
- Receive instruction and guidance from mentors to support your professional development.
- Complete specific work assignments designed to reinforce your learning experience.
- Fulfill all internship-related reporting requirements for both Mayo Clinic and your educational institution.
- Assist in assessing performance levels within the work unit.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s or other graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Active registration for coursework in the current or upcoming academic term, with proof of enrollment required.
- A degree program that requires an internship for graduation or offers it as a credit option.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.
- Academic background in Biology, Psychology, Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or Communications.
