About the role#
The AI&I/Data Science Intern functions as a researcher by applying expertise in data science, artificial intelligence, and informatics to clinical and administrative research. You will work within both research and clinical environments to support the design, implementation, analysis, and reporting of studies.
What you'll do#
- Apply data science, artificial intelligence, and informatics expertise to research projects.
- Design, implement, analyze, interpret, and report on research and clinical administrative studies.
- Collaborate with other researchers to provide data-driven insights.
- Contribute to the development of machine learning applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD program in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, informatics, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent Python programming skills.
- Strong expertise in conducting literature reviews.
- Demonstrated experience in experimentation and validation.
- Foundational understanding of AI models and their validation in pathology.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Research experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science is preferred.
