About the role#
Hampton University Proton Cancer Institute is offering a Data Analyst Internship. This is a paid, on-site position. What you'll do#
You will conduct a comparative analysis of patient cycle times for simple prostate cancer cases. Your core tasks include:
- Select 30 patient cases from the first quarter of the prior year and 30 cases from the first quarter of the current year.
- Extract initial consultation, simulation, and first treatment dates from patient charts.
- Calculate the number of working days between these milestones.
- Determine and compare the average cycle days for both cohorts.
- Summarize your findings and offer recommendations.
- Create and deliver a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation at the end of the program to discuss your project, skills developed, and overall experience.
What you'll need#
- Proof of current enrollment in an accredited institution or graduation within the last 12 months.
- Proof of good academic standing, such as an unofficial transcript.
- A copy of your academic class schedule.
- A recent resume or cover letter.
