About the role#
Beloit Health System is hiring a Student Radiologic Technologist for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Beloit Memorial Hospital. This is a per diem, on-site role that supports our imaging team with daily clinical operations and patient care.
What you'll do#
- Assist Radiologic Technologists and nursing staff with daily procedures.
- Move and transport patients between areas.
- Prepare procedure charts, including printing ID stickers and referencing past studies.
- Greet patients and help with pre-procedure room setup and supply management.
- Maintain procedure flow and assist with post-procedure patient care.
- Practice aseptic techniques and clean labs as needed.
- Select contrast media based on patient lab results.
- Stock linens, supplies, and contrast in procedure rooms.
- Answer phones, take messages, and initiate basic life support if an emergency occurs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Radiology program.
- Ability to obtain CPR certification within three months of your start date.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills, with experience in EMR systems being helpful.
- Commitment to hospital policies, ethical conduct, and patient confidentiality.

- Status: Per diem, 1st shift, varied schedule.
- Compensation: $18.15 to $25.41 per hour.
