About the role#
This position is with Omnicare, which provides pharmacy services to long term care facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional settings. Please note that while this role is listed under CVS Health, it will transition to Omnicare as an independent organization following a planned transaction. You will work within the dispensing pharmacy to support daily operations and management objectives.
What you'll do#
- Enter orders and manage pharmacy inventory.
- Prepare new and refill labels and orders.
- Package and label medications.
- Prepare sterile IV drug products or solutions as needed.
- Offer health screenings and immunizations.
- Support patient safety and pharmacy professional practice standards.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and regulatory requirements.
- Provide customer service to patients and facility staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a US School of Pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in the state of Utah.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.

- This role is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- The position is part-time and on-site.
- This is a paid internship.
