About the role#
The Commercial Credit Analyst Program is a structured, full-time development program designed to prepare early-career professionals for long-term roles in commercial and corporate credit. The program spans 10 months and combines formal training with rotational assignments. Participants work with senior credit officers, relationship managers, and risk leadership to build foundational skills in credit underwriting and portfolio monitoring.
What you'll do#
- Complete a formal training program that includes instructor-led sessions and on-the-job assignments.
- Review and analyze financial statements, cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and capital structures.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memoranda for new originations and renewals.
- Monitor assigned loan portfolios for credit quality and covenant compliance.
- Participate in due diligence calls, management meetings, and underwriting discussions.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong financial statement analysis and accounting fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Professional curiosity and a desire to build a career in credit risk.
