About the role#
The 2027 Commercial Credit Analyst Program is a structured, full-time development program designed to prepare early-career professionals for long-term roles in commercial and corporate credit. Over the course of approximately 10 months, participants engage in a combination of formal classroom instruction, rotational assignments, and hands-on credit underwriting. You will work with credit associates, senior credit officers, and relationship managers to gain exposure to various credit products and business segments. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are placed into a Commercial Credit Analyst role based on business needs.
What you'll do#
- Complete a formal training program that includes instructor-led sessions and on-the-job assignments.
- Review and analyze financial statements, cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and capital structures.
- Monitor assigned loan portfolios for credit quality and covenant compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memoranda for new originations and renewals.
- Participate in due diligence calls, management meetings, and underwriting discussions.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong foundation in financial statement analysis and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Professional curiosity and a demonstrated desire to build a career in credit risk.
