About the role#
Haworth is hiring a paid intern for the Summer 2027 term to join our supply chain team in Holland, Michigan. This full-time, on-site role is part of a 12-week program where you will work on real projects within our corporate headquarters. You will gain exposure to our business and manufacturing processes while collaborating with a cohort of other interns.
What you'll do#
- Assist with direct and indirect purchasing tasks.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Help with AI integration projects.
- Manage supplier registration and enablement.
- Facilitate onboarding processes in SAP and Ariba.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or AI.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
- Unrestricted right to work in the US.
- Proficiency in Excel and the ability to create spreadsheets for data analysis.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
- Preferred: A GPA of 2.95 or higher, prior experience with Haworth or other employment, and involvement in extra-curricular activities.
- Preferred: Familiarity with calendar management, scheduling, and AI tools.
