About the role#
We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our Architectural Solutions team. You will work on-site at our corporate headquarters in Holland, Michigan, during the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid internship where you will assist in bringing our architectural wall systems and furniture solutions to life through visual storytelling.
What you'll do#
- Combine design and animation to explain our products.
- Create 3D animations, exploded views, and training resources for dealers and installers.
- Turn technical information into digital content that improves user understanding.
- Contribute to customer-facing web tools.
- Develop materials that directly impact how our solutions are experienced in the field.
- Participate in a 12-week program that includes attending NeoCon, professional workshops, and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design.
- Junior level status or higher by Fall 2027.
- Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
- Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI, from May 2027 to August 2027.
- A GPA of 2.95 or higher is preferred.
- Experience with CAD and 3D software like Autodesk Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks Composer, Blender, or 3ds Max.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills, a desire to solve problems, and the ability to manage projects to completion.
- Previous work experience or involvement in athletics, clubs, or volunteer work.
- Prior experience with Haworth is a plus.
