About the role#
Baker Tilly is seeking International Tax Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time internship provides an opportunity to gain practical knowledge of tax advisory practices by working with multinational clients and high-net-worth individuals across a variety of industries.
What you'll do#
- Perform transactional and functional analysis.
- Conduct transfer pricing analysis.
- Assist with US domestic and foreign tax planning.
- Support the sourcing of income and foreign credit planning.
- Research international tax consulting and compliance issues.
- Complete other projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or a related business discipline. A JD, LLM, or Master of Taxation is preferred.
- At least one academic term remaining after the internship concludes.
- For accounting majors, you must be on track to meet CPA exam eligibility requirements before starting a full-time Associate position.
- Foundational accounting knowledge gained through coursework.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze information, and document findings.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Curiosity, learning agility, and a willingness to ask questions.
- Reliability, strong time management, and attention to detail.
- Professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
- Submission of a resume and unofficial transcript is required.
