About the role#
Live Oak Bank is hiring an IT Support Administrator Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a part-time, paid internship based at our headquarters in Wilmington, North Carolina. You will work on-site to assist with corporate applications, hardware, and cloud platforms while gaining experience in the banking and FinTech space.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with our IT Support and Infrastructure teams on specific projects.
- Assist employees with support requests through in-person interaction or remote tools like TeamViewer.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot bank software, hardware, and audio-visual systems.
- Build, script, and automate processes for cloud production systems in Azure and AWS.
What you'll need#
- Experience working with Windows and Apple products.
- Knowledge of internet and intranet services.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with banking applications and support systems is helpful.
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
